Los Angeles native Brian T. Dunn is a partner in The Cochran Firm Los Angeles, where he devotes his practice largely to civil rights and severe personal injury cases. Mr. Dunn has been involved in numerous significant and historic cases ranging from auto and truck negligence and premises liability matters, to civil rights matters involving police shootings and excessive force during arrest. Mr. Dunn has achieved multi-million dollar verdicts for his clients in several of these cases.
Mr. Dunn was named one of the "Top 100 Trial Lawyers" in 2008 by the American Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice. He was nominated, along with Joseph Barrett of the firm, for "Trial Lawyers of the Year" by the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and in February of 2009 was award "Trial Lawyer of the Year" by the Langston Bar Association of Los Angeles. Mr. Dunn has been honored as a "Super Lawyer" by Los Angeles Magazine (2004, 2006) and as one of the "Top 20 Under 40" attorneys in California by the Los Angeles Daily Journal (2006). He is a frequent lecturer on civil rights litigation to audiences of both attorneys and police officers.
