Ibiere N. Seck

Ibiere N. Seck is an associate attorney with The Cochran Firm Los Angeles, where she practices civil rights litigation and cases of personal injury negligence, including products liability and medical malpractice.

Ms. Seck attended Northeastern University, where she received the Alice S. Ayling and Charles Irwin Travelli Scholarship and served as President of the Black Student Association and Editor-in-Chief of the Onyx Informer newspaper.  While in law school at Loyola University, Ms. Seck was selected as a member of the nationally-recognized Byrne Trial Advocacy Team and participated in the Williams Civil Rights Litigation Program.  She was selected as a recipient of the Beverly Hills Bar Foundation Scholarship, and earned highest honors in the Hobbs/Poehls Trial Advocacy Program.

Ms. Seck has worked in the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office as a prosecutorial extern as well as the Inner City Law Center, where she worked as a civil rights intern advocating for the homeless and working poor.  Presently, Ms. Seck serves on the Advisory Board of Mesereau-Ephraim-Villaraigosa Free Legal Clinic.  In addition to English, Ms. Seck is fluent in French and Wolof, a language spoken primarily in Senegal, West Africa.
